Sarah Blyth is a well-respected woman in the male dominated sport of skateboarding. As founder and head of Vancouver Skateboard Coalition she spurred the creation of six new skateparks and helped make Vancouver a world-leader in this sport.
Sandy Silver has contributed to women’s Volleyball as an athlete, coach, official and builder. She was the first female Assistant Coach of the Canadian Women’s National Team and one of the first female full time university head coaches in Canada when hired by UBC in 1979.
BEV VIGER has earned a world-wide reputation in figure skating as a top official and has worked diligently to support figure skating not only provincially but nationally and internationally as well.
